What You Will Do- Implement the nursing process with patients, including carrying out physicians’ orders regarding diet, medication, and treatment in accordance with Firelands standards of care.
- Perform assessments; monitor and ensure quality care through observation and evaluation; document nursing interventions on care plans, medical records, and report findings to physicians as needed.
- Instruct patients, staff, and family members regarding treatments, nursing plans, and related patient care directed toward a safe discharge.
- Respond to emergencies; maintain availability of medications and supplies; ensure cleanliness of equipment and environment.
- Demonstrate service excellence and act as an ambassador and advocate for Firelands Health.
- Must have a current Ohio RN license and CPR certification prior to patient care experience.
- Current ACLS, Basic EKG, and PALS required or obtained within 6 months of hire and remain current.
- Board certification preferred within 2 years in area of expertise.
- Excellent organizational, customer service skills, and computer proficiency are a must.
