• Secure facility and property through observation and inspections; monitor surveillance equipment; monitor access control points; permit or deny entry to premises.
• Alert help by sounding facility alarms.
• Prevent losses and damage; report irregularities; inform violators of policy and procedures; restrain trespassers.
• Control traffic by directing drivers.
• Write reports and maintain activity log; record observations, information, and surveillance activity; interview witnesses.
• Ensure safety and security of the facility and personnel through access control and screening and divesting procedures.
• Conduct self in professional manner; lend credibility to client site; be courteous and uplifting; bring people together by being neutral and understanding of people from diverse background.
• Comply with all legal requirements.
• Contribute to team synergy by communicating, deconflicting, sharing ideas, and complementing efforts.
• De‑escalate volatile situations; protect the most vulnerable from threats (physical and non‑physical); contribute to safe and secure work environment.

• 1st Shift:  (Mon-Sun)
• 2nd Shift:  (Mon-Sun)
• 3rd Shift:  (Mon-Fri)

These schedules allow for part‑time and full‑time positions.

• 1 year of security experience
• 1 year of customer service experience
• Reliable transportation
• Driver’s license
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 18+ years old

Pay: $16.50 per hour.

Work Location:

Sandusky, OH (on-site).

• Proof of previous or current guard card issued by the Ohio Department of Public Safety and PISGS (required)

• Pass a BCI and FBI background check pursuant to ORC 4749.03 and 4749.06
• Pass a BCI background check pursuant to ORC
• Pass a 5‑panel drug screening
• Pass a tuberculosis screening
• Pass a fit‑for‑duty physical examination
• Proof of COVID‑19 vaccination or exemption request

• Must be able to commute from Sandusky, OH (Erie County)
• Must be able to relocate to Sandusky, OH (Erie County) before starting work

Selected candidates will receive 40 hours of paid training at $12.00 per hour.
