Under general supervision of the pool manager, greets pool patrons; accepts money from pool patrons in payment for admission; sells season passes; operates cash register; issues change due to customers; stores articles for patrons of pool; completes custodial or maintenance assignments.
Qualifications:- Completion of or actively working toward completion of secondary education.

Working Conditions:
Employee ascends and/or descends ladders, stairs, or scaffolds; is exposed to possible injury as a result of falling from high places; works in or around crowds; has contact with potentially violent or emotionally distraught persons; has exposure to life threatening situations; has exposure to hot, cold, wet, humid, or windy weather conditions.
Note:
In accordance with the U.S. Department of Labor physical demands strength ratings, this is considered light work.
In cases of emergency, unpredictable situations, and/or department needs, may be required to lift, push, pull, and/or carry objects heavier than D.O.L. strength ratings recommend.
Essential Functions of the Position:- 50% (1) Greets pool patrons; addresses patron inquiries and concerns; performs a variety of tasks in order to ensure the efficient delivery of services (e.g., accepts money and admits patrons, completes custodial or maintenance assignments, etc.).
- 20% (2) Assists Pool Manager with sale of season passes and maintenance of records of season pass holders; operates cash register; issues change due to customers.
- 20% (3) Operates the pool concession stand (i.e., stocks supplies, sells merchandise, accepts money, and issues correct change).
- 5% (4) Receives items turned into lost and found; returns lost and found items to owner.
- 4% (5) Performs any and all other duties as directed or assigned by the pool manager or other person acting on behalf of or in place of the manager to ensure the effective and efficient operation of the village swimming pool.
- (6) Follows all pool safety practices and procedures.
- (7) Meets all job safety requirements and all applicable OSHA safety standards that pertain to essential functions.
- (8) Demonstrates regular and predictable attendance.
