Driver/Operator

We are currently looking for an experienced Bus Driver to join our elite team in Sandusky, OH. As a key member, you will be entrusted with ensuring safe and comfortable transportation for our passengers, while upholding the highest standards of professionalism and customer service.

• Classified under Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA). Starting pay $21.00 per hour, progressing to $22.00 over 1 year.

• Follow designated routes and schedules, adhering to safety protocols and traffic regulations.
• Provide exceptional care and assistance toward passengers, ensuring smooth boarding, comfortable rides, and timely disembarkation.
• Perform comprehensive pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections, promptly reporting any maintenance issues and maintaining vehicle cleanliness and safety standards.
• Uphold company policies including seat‑belt enforcement, emergency response preparedness, and regulatory compliance.
• Complete any other duties as required.

• 21 years of age or older.
• Valid CDL Class A or B with passenger and air‑brake endorsement.
• Minimum 3 years of driving experience (personal or professional).
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work shifts and flexible schedules as needed.
• Subject to DOT drug testing and physical examination if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.

• Work outside in varying temperatures, weather, and humidity conditions (100% of the job is performed outdoors).
• Work alone and in remote locations.
• Sit for extended periods (up to 6‑8 hours per day); frequently walk long distances on possible sloped or uneven surfaces.
• Push or pull objects up to 50 lbs, occasionally higher; lift material up to 50 lbs, with or without assistance; bend, kneel, or crouch to reach equipment stored at ground level.
• Operate in heavy traffic areas while performing duties; tolerate exposure to dust, vehicle fumes, and noise.
