Are you passionate about Analytical Science and eager to develop your laboratory skills in a GMP-regulated environment? We're looking for an enthusiastic Analytical Sciences Scientist to join our growing team in Sandwich.
This is an excellent opportunity for either an early-career scientist who wants to gain hands-on experience using analytical techniques, working on real projects, and building a strong foundation in pharmaceutical and life sciences research, or someone that has already started to establish their career in the scientific field. You'll be supported by experienced colleagues while developing the technical, scientific, and regulatory knowledge needed for a successful career in Analytical Sciences.
Given the specific nature of the work we do, we would love to hear from applicants that have experience or knowledge of iGC-SEA (inverse gas chromatography). Please also apply if you have experience with other Material Science techniques.
What will you be doing?- Set up instruments, perform routine analyses, and process data accurately
- Contribute to scientific investigations and communicate experimental outcomes
- Participate in quality activities, inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Work collaboratively with Quality Assurance, Business Development, and other cross-functional teams
- Maintain high standards of laboratory housekeeping, safety, and documentation.
Who we’re looking for
We're looking for an enthusiastic and proactive individual who is driven to go the extra mile in support of our customers, with a strong focus on quality and an excellent attention to detail.
You’ll also have:
- A degree in biological or analytical science, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Experience working in a GxP-accredited laboratory environment (advantageous).
- Knowledge of mass spectrometry and/or chromatography techniques.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain the outcome of experiments clearly to both peers and customers.
