- Work on site planning and design, problem-solving, and permitting assignments
- Draft figures, details, and plans
- Complete field work supporting design and construction projects
- Prepare design calculations and opinions of probable construction cost
- Prepare technical specifications, memoranda, reports, and project correspondence
- Apply design standards and regulatory requirements
- Provide construction phase services, including construction observation
- Review shop drawings and submittals
- Create record plans
- Support infrastructure projects across the Northeast from conceptual design through construction oversight
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
- Passed FE Exam and obtained EIT certification, or planning to by June 2027
- Relevant experience through internships in surveying, engineering, permitting, or construction observation
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Eagerness to learn, intellectual curiosity, self-motivation, and excellent organizational skills
- Preferred:
Master’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering - Preferred:
Hands-on experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or HydroCAD - Preferred:
Understanding of hydraulic/hydrological studies and stormwater modeling
Demonstrates expertise in civil and environmental engineering principles, including site planning, design, and permitting. Proficient in technical documentation, construction observation, and regulatory compliance, with a strong foundation in relevant software tools.
