Head Receptionist – Be the Face of Hospitality with Britain’s Oldest Brewer!

As a Head Receptionist, you’ll lead the front desk team and ensure every guest receives a warm welcome and exceptional service from arrival to departure. You’ll be the first point of contact for guests, setting the tone for their experience and managing reception operations smoothly.

Where You’ll Be WorkingLocated next to the River Stour in the heart of the beautiful medieval town of Sandwich, Kent, the Bell Hotel has been welcoming guests to the town since Tudor times. Having undergone extensive refurbishment in recent years, the historic riverside retreat offers guests a luxurious experience with 21st-century comforts. Sandwich is also a magnet for golfers, with Royal St George’s and Prince’s golf clubs on its doorstep.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Manage the reception desk and lead the team to deliver outstanding guest service.
- Welcome guests warmly and handle check-in and check-out efficiently.
- Respond to guest queries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
- Coordinate with housekeeping, kitchen, and management teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain accurate records and manage bookings and reservations.
- Train and support reception staff to uphold company standards.
