Seasonal Shuttle Driver - Sandwich

The Shuttle Driver reports to the Hospitality Manager and is an excellent position for someone who wants to be our guests’ first great impression when they arrive to the brewery, has experience tactfully enforcing regulations or has the ability to do so, and who enjoys people. The shuttle team will be responsible for outdoor tasks such as supporting the flow of incoming and departing guests, driving the company shuttle to and from satellite parking lots, monitoring the lot and facility, and ensuring clean grounds.

The position is SEASONAL, PART-TIME from May through Labor Day and will be based in Sandwich, MA. It requires a minimum of three shifts per week, with Saturday availability required. This position pays $18/hour.

• Driving the company shuttle to and from satellite parking lots
• Welcoming guests onto the property and maintaining a presence outside at our facility and satellite lots to answer guest questions
• Providing a welcoming, polite, clean, educated experience for all guests
• Providing information calmly and professionally to guests on where to meet the shuttle for departure and return service
• Professionally and tactfully letting guests know if they are violating a Tree House policy, for example, open cans on premise or in shuttle or parking in undesignated areas
• Maintaining a timely schedule for guest pickup and drop off
• Additional ad hoc tasks as requested by your supervisor

• Possess a valid Driver’s License in good standing
• Consistent weekend availability through the season
• Driven, self-motivated and able to work autonomously, with a focused and hard working attitude
• Ability to work comfortably outdoors in all weather conditions
• An innate helpful nature and a desire to be a strong, reliable team player with a willingness to go the extra mile
• Ability to multitask and work coolly and professionally in time sensitive situations
• Must have good communication skills with the ability to both receive and delegate tasks amongst the Shuttle Team
• Must be able to tactfully communicate with guests including a warm greeting to de-escalating conflicts
• Must be able to maintain a strict schedule
• Ability to troubleshoot issues and/or pivot plans quickly in order to coordinate corrective actions needed
• Meticulous attention to detail when it comes to keeping the Shuttle and parking area(s) clean
• Must be punctual and responsible with one’s own time
• You are not afraid to speak your mind
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to push, pull, bend, and lift in excess of 50 lbs. as necessary to perform required tasks as assigned throughout the workday.
