Role Description

This part‑time Administrative Assistant role is an on‑site position based in Sandy Springs, Georgia. The Administrative Assistant will provide day‑to‑day administrative support to staff and leadership, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and coordinating logistics for programs and events. Responsibilities include answering and directing phone calls, greeting visitors, handling incoming and outgoing mail, and maintaining organized digital and physical files. The role also involves preparing correspondence and meeting materials, taking meeting notes, and assisting with data entry and basic reporting.

Qualifications
  • Strong administrative assistance skills, including calendar management, scheduling, and document preparation.
  • Professional phone etiquette and front‑desk support skills, with the ability to handle inquiries and direct calls appropriately.
  • Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Experience with executive administrative assistance or supporting senior staff, including meeting coordination and follow‑up.
  • Solid clerical skills, such as filing, data entry, recordkeeping, and managing office supplies.
  • Proficiency with common office software (e.g., Microsoft Office or Google Workspace) and comfort learning new systems and databases.
  • Strong organizational and time‑management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse group of staff, volunteers, and community partners, and to uphold NCJW’s mission and values.
  • College education and nonprofit experience is a plus.
