As an Administrative Support Specialist within the Morgan County Health Department, you will support health department programs and provide clerical duties such as WIC registration, maintain records, and deliver exceptional customer service to clients, staff, and the public.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Perform WIC registration and other clerical duties in support of health department programs.
- Enter and maintain accurate data and records.
- Maintain detailed filing and record-keeping systems.
- Provide excellent customer service to clients, staff, and the public.
- Conduct client interviews and communicate effectively with diverse populations.
- Demonstrate strong reading comprehension, attention to detail, and numerical accuracy.
- Utilize computer systems and office software efficiently.
- Perform other duties as assigned in support of management and staff.
- High school diploma or GED and at least two (2) years of general office or administrative experience.
- Preferred experience working in a medical or public health setting.
- Preferred bilingual skills.
