2 Hour Learning is establishing a nationwide system of schools that condense an entire day's instruction into two concentrated hours through artificial intelligence. This approach depends on expansion that is as disciplined as the educational model. This role is designed to ensure that outcome. You will manage the complete development cycle of new school sites—from undeveloped property to operating campus—while creating the frameworks that make every new launch faster, smoother, and more reliable.

This is not a conventional facilities development position. Your mandate is not simply to oversee construction. Your mandate is to remove obstacles from the growth trajectory. That requires decisive judgment on site suitability, direct involvement in permitting and construction challenges, vendor negotiations, and timeline enforcement with a sense of urgency. Concurrently, you will decompose each element of the process into organized, AI-enabled systems that minimize manual intervention and increase forecasting precision with each iteration.

• Validate site feasibility through structured and AI-supported analysis covering zoning, permitting, cost, and schedule considerations to inform critical site decisions
• Manage several concurrent school construction projects, directing construction managers, clearing obstacles, and ensuring launches occur on time and within budget
• Prepare detailed, actionable capital project proposals that bring stakeholders into alignment on scope, budget, and delivery approach
• Oversee vendor selection processes, RFPs, and contract negotiations with an emphasis on execution speed, output quality, and financial discipline
• Break down expansion processes into discrete, repeatable tasks and implement AI-powered workflows that reduce cycle times and enhance consistency

• Functioning as a passive coordinator who waits for status reports from contractors or external partners
• Limiting your scope to a single phase (such as site acquisition or construction management) without accountability for the complete result
• Depending on improvised, one-off methods that must be rebuilt for each new site
• Forwarding issues upward without taking direct action to resolve permitting, design, or construction challenges

Lead the complete development lifecycle of new school locations by delivering operational campuses on reliable schedules while systematically decreasing time, expense, and uncertainty through AI-enhanced processes.

• Documented experience leading at least one real estate development or construction initiative from site acquisition through operational launch with end-to-end accountability
• Background managing multiple simultaneous builds or capital programs with direct ownership of schedules, coordination, and problem resolution
• Deep working knowledge of zoning regulations, permitting procedures, construction operations, and vendor management, including the capacity to interact directly with general contractors, architects, and regulatory bodies
• Proven capability to evaluate tradeoffs involving cost, schedule, and feasibility and deliver decisions with clear, quantifiable results
• Experience refining or systematizing multifaceted operational processes (such as permitting workflows, design coordination, or construction delivery)
• Confirmed ability to decompose intricate workflows into structured, scalable systems and enhance their performance iteratively
