Upper School Math Teacher
Holy Innocents’ Episcopal School (HIES) is seeking an Upper School Math Teacher for the academic year. HIES is the largest Episcopal Parish day school in the country, offering a fully accredited college preparatory program for students age three through 12th grade. HIES is located north of downtown Atlanta between I‑75 and GA 400.
Skills and Abilities- Experience teaching Mathematics in Middle or Upper Grades.
- Excellent organization, presentation and communication skills.
- Commitment to collaboration and team teaching across disciplines.
- Instruct five sections of Math classes in grades 9‑12.
- Deliver lesson plans and monitor student performance.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance instructional activities and environment.
- Update and maintain student academic records and performance metrics.
- Communicate regularly with parents, students and colleagues regarding student progress.
- Bachelor’s Degree required. A Master’s degree in education or Mathematics is preferred.
- Prior experience teaching Upper or Middle School math required.
- Successful completion of pre‑employment background screening, drug testing and safety training required.
