Faculty of the Arts & Sciences, Department of English and Communications at Rutgers‑Camden seeks part‑time lecturers for Fall 2025, Winter 2026, Spring 2025, and/or Summer 2026 to teach various courses. Lecturers will present course material during assigned times, hold office hours, administer exams, assign grades, and coordinate all related instructional duties.
Responsibilities- Deliver assigned courses with high academic standards.
- Hold regular office hours for student support.
- Administer and grade examinations and assignments.
- Coordinate course logistics and any required instructional materials.
- Minimum: MA, MFA, or Ph.D. in English, Communications, or a related discipline.
- Prior teaching experience at the college level preferred.
- Knowledge of contemporary scholarship in the field of study.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for diverse student populations.
- Capability to maintain up‑to‑date influenza vaccination status if required by policy.
