About the PositionWe are seeking a skilled and compassionate School Psychologist to provide evaluation, consultation, and intervention services within a K–12 school setting. The ideal candidate will collaborate with educators, administrators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support students’ academic achievement, behavioral development, social-emotional needs, and overall educational success.
Job Duties- Conduct comprehensive psycho educational evaluations and assessments to identify student strengths, needs, and eligibility for special education services
- Complete psychological assessments, evaluation reports, and required documentation
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Provide consultation and support to teachers, administrators, and families regarding student academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
- Assist with the development and implementation of intervention strategies and behavioral supports
- Support students through counseling, crisis intervention, and social-emotional learning strategies as appropriate
- Collaborate with special education teams to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
- Interpret assessment results and provide recommendations to support student success
- Maintain accurate records and complete required reports within established timelines
- Promote a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment for all students
- Master’s degree or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid Georgia School Psychologist certification through the Georgia Professional Standards Commission (GaPSC)
- Completion of required supervised internship experience in school psychology
- Knowledge of IDEA, special education evaluation procedures, and eligibility determination processes
- Experience conducting psycho educational assessments and writing evaluation reports
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Ability to work effectively with students, families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams
- Successful completion of required background screening and district onboarding requirements
- Previous school-based experience preferred
