• Under general supervision, will provide instruction to students in welding technology courses to include college and/or high school students during day classes.
• Demonstrates the use of appropriate teaching techniques.
• Demonstrates the use of appropriate testing and grading procedures including proper maintenance of grade books and any other appropriate record-keeping required.
• Demonstrates the effective use of oral and written communication skills.
• Demonstrates knowledge of current in-field procedures.
• Follow the approved course syllabus.
• Completes all reports, records, and invoices in a timely manner and maintains an accurate inventory of all assigned properties.

Working Conditions:

Category II - Limited probability of exposure to hazardous chemicals/pathogens. This is a part-time position, therefore no overtime can be earned. Periodic travel between major Wiregrass campuses and satellite sites.

• One of the following: a Diploma or higher in the teaching discipline with verifiable credentials, qualifications, OR competencies appropriate for teaching the course content, OR In-field certifications, OR three (3) years of experience in-field.
• NOTE:
  
  A combination of related experience may substitute for the degree on a year-for-year basis.

• In addition to meeting all other minimum qualifications, the highly desired candidate will possess one or more of the following:

• Salary is Adjunct Pay Scale (Lump Sum).
• This is an adjunct position used on an as needed basis, not to exceed 27 hours per week.
• No promise of full-time employment exists.
