Our client is a premier General Contractor in the Atlanta market for over 40 years. They focus on a broad range on commercial projects including education, healthcare, municipal, light industrial, etc. They have a positive team atmosphere with a desire to perform the highest level of quality for their clients.

Job Description

• Lead all phases of project execution, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and closeout.
• Manage day-to-day project operations and serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
• Oversee project financials, including cost tracking, forecasting, and change management.
• Collaborate with preconstruction teams to support estimating, constructability reviews, and value engineering efforts.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality expectations, and contract requirements.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, resolve issues, and support field teams.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and project partners to encourage repeat business.
• Mentor project engineers and assistant project managers to support team development.

The Successful Applicant

• 8+ years experience in commercial construction working with a general contractor
• Strong oral communication and written skills.
• Bachelors Degree in Construction Science, Management, Engineering or related field
• Proven success managing light industrial projects
• Ability to successfully manage all aspects of the projects including schedules, budgets, and profitability through comprehensive project completion.
• Experience in healthcare construction is a must
