Position: R&D Engineer and Process Engineer

We are looking for R&D Engineers and Process Engineers with working experience at KaMin, Thiele or Burgess Pigment.

Working location: USA, China

R&D Engineer Responsibilities

Lead the development of new kaolin products (raw ore, concentrate and modified kaolin) for applications including paper making, coatings, rubber, ceramics, new energy and glass fiber.

Conduct lab and pilot tests, optimize process parameters such as grinding, classification, magnetic separation, flotation and surface modification, and develop stable and mass‑producible technical solutions.

Upgrade performance and improve processes of existing kaolin products to cut costs, resolve production stability and consistency issues, and boost product yield and production efficiency.

Keep track of cutting‑edge technologies including nanocrystallization, composite modification and eco‑friendly processing, and introduce new processes, equipment and additives.

Provide technical proposals, product selection guidance and application support for sales teams, and assist customers in troubleshooting technical problems during product use.

Process Engineer Responsibilities

Responsible for drafting, optimizing and implementing the full production processes of kaolin, including wet beneficiation, grinding & classification, iron removal by magnetic separation, filter pressing & dewatering, spray drying, calcination and surface modification.

Formulate SOPs, process parameter sheets and central control operation specifications to unify production standards, and stabilize key indicators such as whiteness, particle size, moisture content and viscosity.

Monitor real‑time process parameters and ensure stable operation of each working procedure to prevent defective products and material waste caused by batch process abnormalities.
