Intermediate Pipelines and Facilities Project Engineer

Help develop the future of energy on the U.S. Gulf Coast. In this Houston, TX based role, you will bring your engineering expertise to life by supporting both capital projects and day‑to‑day operations across complex facilities and pipeline assets, playing a meaningful role from design through commissioning and beyond.

• Support the technical development, execution, and commission of projects.
• Provide technical support and feedback to all collaborator groups.
• Develop technical documents to support all operations and projects.
• Assist in coordinating technical work for projects.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably in mechanical or electrical engineering, from an accredited university.
• Four or more years of related engineering experience.
• Knowledge of terminal operations, technical due diligence, project engineering, FEED processes, project gating frameworks, and financial aspects of project controls.
• Strong working knowledge of pipeline, facility and tank engineering; construction management; industry standards and governmental regulations; complex detailed design; commissioning experience is an asset.

Office environment with frequent travel to field locations (potentially during extreme weather conditions), regulatory agencies, customer offices, and other company offices. Time commitments often extend beyond normal working hours. Calm, quick decision making under intense conditions and making disciplined decisions in the face of uncertainty.

Physical requirements include: grasping, kneeling, light‑to‑moderate lifting (objects up to 20 lbs), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual and hearing requirements, ability to sit at a computer for long periods.

Mental requirements: understand and apply instructions, understand complex problems, organize thoughts, prioritize work on a short‑term basis, make decisions with moderate impact, complete routine forms, compose letters, outlines, memoranda, basic reports, communicate via telephone.
