We are seeking to hire an MEP Project Manager to join our company for multiple mission critical projects across the US.

Responsibilities
  • Lead all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) scopes from preconstruction through commissioning, turnover, and project closeout for mission-critical data center projects
  • Based on-site, direct day-to-day performance of MEP subcontractors, commissioning agents, testing agencies, utility providers, and third-party owner vendors to ensure safety, quality, schedule, and budget objectives are achieved.
  • Oversee MEP design coordination efforts with architects, engineers, BIM/VDC teams, superintendents, and trade partners to resolve clashes, coordination issues, and constructability challenges.
  • Review and approve MEP submittals, RFIs, monthly payment applications, change orders, equipment procurement logs, and other project documentation.
  • Monitor construction progress through regular site inspections and schedule reviews, ensuring MEP installations are executed in accordance with contract documents, project milestones, and operational requirements.
  • Coordinate multi-trade interfaces and systems integration, ensuring alignment between mechanical, electrical, controls, security, life safety, building envelope, and other critical building systems.
  • Manage all testing, inspections, startup, commissioning, AHJ approvals, life-safety certifications, and utility coordination activities required for successful system operation and occupancy.
  • Develop and complete MEP punch lists, oversee deficiency resolution, and ensure all closeout deliverables—including as-built drawings, O&M manuals, training, warranties, and attic stock—are provided for owner turnover.
  • Serve as the primary MEP representative in owner, subcontractor, coordination, and field meetings, providing project updates, mitigating risks, and driving successful project execution.
  • When applicable, manage the procurement process for MEP trades, including subcontractor prequalification, bid package reviews, bid tab evaluations, contractor selection, contract exhibits, and long-lead equipment planning.

Carry out your duties to meet Quality, Safety and Environmental requirements at all times.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related technical field preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience with Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems on mission-critical and/or data center projects.
  • 5+ years of project management experience overseeing MEP scopes from preconstruction through turnover.
  • Strong understanding of HVAC, electrical distribution, plumbing, fire protection, commissioning, and testing processes.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
  • Experience with BIM/VDC coordination and clash detection software.
  • Knowledge of applicable building codes and industry standards, including ASHRAE, NEC, and NFPA.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-management skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels: owners, design teams, subcontractors, field personnel, etc
