Propulsion Engineer

Our client, a leading aerospace manufacturer, is looking for a Propulsion Engineer to support design, testing, and optimization of new and sustaining products. The ideal candidate will have a solid engineering foundation, academic or internship experience in propulsion or aerospace systems, and a strong interest in advancing aerospace technology.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design
  :
  Design and development of jet propulsion components and systems, ensuring compliance with performance, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Project Involvement
  :
  Be part of propulsion-related projects from concept through testing, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with project goals and budgets.
• Testing and Validation
  :
  Be part of test plans for propulsion systems, analyze test data, and prepare comprehensive reports to support design validation and certification efforts.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration
  :
  Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including design, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless integration of propulsion systems into aircraft platforms.
• Continuous Improvement
  :
  Identify opportunities for process improvements and technology advancements, contributing to the development of next-generation propulsion systems.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field;
• 0-5 years of work experience in propulsion engineering or a related aerospace field, with a proven track record of successful projects.
• Experience in propulsion system design, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and materials used in aerospace applications.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and provide actionable insights.
