Cash Application Specialist

We’re looking for a detail-oriented Cash Applications Specialist to join a growing finance team and play a key role in maintaining accurate accounts receivable and healthy cash flow. This role works closely with AR, Billing, and Collections to ensure customer payments are applied accurately and on time.

• Apply daily customer payments (ACH, wire, checks, credit cards) to open invoices in the ERP system
• Reconcile remittance advice against service contracts and recurring billing schedules
• Investigate unapplied cash, short pays, duplicate payments, and discrepancies
• Partner with Collections and Billing teams to resolve payment issues
• Communicate with customers to obtain remittance details as needed
• Maintain accurate cash receipt logs and support month-end close activities
• Prepare daily cash posting reports and support audit/compliance needs
• Identify opportunities to improve cash application processes and automation

• Working knowledge of accounting principles, especially related to credits and cash application
• Experience working with multiple legal entities and multiple bank accounts
• Hands-on experience with Net Suite (required)
• Experience using Salesforce (required)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage high transaction volumes
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
