Kidde Residential Fire Products is seeking a Finance professional in Commercial Finance who is a data-driven individual, has very strong financial acumen, that likes to solve puzzles and is excited to help drive profit. The candidate will report to the Sr. Commercial Finance Manager in the trade marketing team in a cross functional environment with the sales, finance, and customer service teams.
The candidate will focus on improving operational efficiency and margin growth opportunities for our retail and wholesale channels.
- Support pricing, sales, and marketing teams in identifying opportunities to drive sales and profitability, leveraging data insights and stakeholder input and expertise
- Work with sales and finance, and other cross-functions to drive actions and track progress vs. plan/ target for margin improvement (% and $)
- Evaluation of promotion opportunities to drive revenue and margin growth
- Analyses of channel & product mix optimization to drive decision making
- Work with finance and sales leaders to develop appropriate commercial investment/ budget at a detailed level to maximize ROI
- Manage forecasting related to customer promotions and incentive pricing
- Manage customer rebate & incentive programs and accruals
- Support price increase actions, including tracking, cost justification, etc.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, or engineering
- 3+ years of experience in finance, pricing, and/or revenue management
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Microsoft Power BI
- Expert in Microsoft Excel
- Strong data mining, aggregation, and analytical skills
- Fluency in P&L and cashflow
- Ability to interact and work with management and within a team environment
- Strong organization skills and attention to detail
- JD Edwards experience a plus
- HFM Experience a plus
- Salesforce CPQ experience a plus
