Job Purpose
Hybrid – Atlanta, GA headquarters. Reports to Senior Director, Workday HRIS. The Workday Analyst will guide the design, maintenance, and support of Core HCM, payroll, and compensation modules within Workday. Responsibilities include the annual compensation cycle, Workday compensation processes, and technical improvements such as compensation reporting, job profile setup, job families, compensation grades, and job reclassification projects.
Responsibilities- Serve as subject matter expert for Core HCM, Payroll and Compensation modules in Workday, advising on new projects and continuous improvement.
- Configure Workday business processes and participate in system testing to ensure successful deployment of enhancements.
- Optimize process design to meet changing business needs, keeping user experience in mind; provide consultative recommendations and document changes for change control purposes.
- Investigate and resolve Workday issues, unexpected results, or process gaps.
- Lead projects, conducting working sessions with the business to gather, understand, and analyze requirements.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize dashboards and reports, including creation of calculated fields.
- Maintain visibility on Workday Community and local user groups to stay abreast of new features and product defects and advocate for desired enhancements.
- Monitor the Workday roadmap and community to drive improvements and innovation.
- Partner with third‑party resources, as needed, for required Workday updates and additional module rollouts.
- Strong configuration experience and knowledge in Core HCM, Payroll and Compensation modules.
- Partner certifications or Workday Pro certifications preferred.
- Strong understanding of the business process framework, security, and reporting.
- 3–5 years of related job experience.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, work under pressure, and adapt to sudden changes.
- Basic experience operating simple office/operational systems.
- Experience interpreting strategy and policy to set and deliver objectives.
- Experience planning, managing and organizing resources within short/medium time‑scales under an overall policy framework.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong customer service skills (friendly, courteous and helpful).
- Bachelor's Degree Preferred.
