Learning & Development Coordinator
The Learning and Development Coordinator is instrumental in advancing Devon Energy’s learning and talent development strategy by delivering comprehensivelogistical,administrative,and operational support to the L&D function. This roleis responsible for ensuring the effective planning, implementation,and execution of development programs and enterprise-wide learning initiatives that strengthen employee capability and organizational effectiveness.
This position islocatedon-site at our headquarters in Houston, Texas.
Monday-Thursday with Flex Fridays.
Learning Management System (LMS) Support
Configures andmaintainsprograms, campaigns, and coursesin the Workday LMS
Providestimelyandaccuratereporting on training activitiesrecorded in the LMS:attendance, completion rates, and other key metrics to support the organization’s measurement and reporting strategies
Addressesuser issues and providestimelysystem support
Monitorsdata accuracy
Program Support
Assistsin coordinating end-to-end learning programs, from scheduling to evaluation,to ensure seamless execution
Provideslogistical support for virtual and live training sessions, workshops, and events
Servesas the point of contact forL&Dcommunications
Managesandmaintainscontent libraries,master L&Dcalendar, andprint and digitalL&Dmaterials
Manages vendor partnerships
-coordinates and administers contracts, service agreements, and vendor relationships forexternaltraining and development services
Skills & Experience
Minimum of2yearsofexperienceinL&D orLMS administration
Prior Workday Learning experience preferred
Ability tomanageprioritiesand work independently or collaboratively
Strong problem solver with ability to manage multiple deadlines
Attention to detail and accuracy in data management and documentation
Excellent oral and written communication skills, including spelling and grammar
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Teams, etc.)
Experience in the oil & gas industry is a plus
Education Requirements
Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in human resources, or a related field
