Overview
Working in the Business Intelligence group, the Database Developer will service the critical information and infrastructure needs across the organization. In this highly visible position, you will have the opportunity to design a solution handling the large data volumes. You will assist in analytics, as well as building and tuning queries, SSIS packages and SQL jobs.
Responsibilities- Create complex analytic queries on large data sets
- Create stored procedures, triggers, and functions
- Analyze trends in key metrics
- Design and build processes that extract, transform and load data from production data sources to the data warehouse
- Identify performance bottlenecks and optimize key queries
- Maintain uptime demands on the BI system
- Experience in database development role
- Knowledge of T-SQL language & SQL Server database engine
- Experience performance tuning T-SQL queries, indexes, disk I/O, memory and CPU
- Strong communication skills a must
- Skills that are desired but not absolutely necessary include:
- Knowledge of .NET
- Experience using Tableau software
- Experience with using SSRS and SSIS
- M-F 8am to 5pm
- Pay rate is $41.38+
