• Responsible for the strategic design, implementation, and maintenance of complex IT infrastructure environments.
• Manage VMware environments, including vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter, with a focus on complex version upgrades, performance optimization, and high availability.
• Design scalable VMware environments, including vSAN and NSX‑T, and manage virtual networking, SAN solutions, and advanced storage systems such as Power Max and XtremIO.
• Oversee certificate management, advanced performance troubleshooting, and disaster recovery planning using tools such as VMware SRM and Zerto.
• Handle capacity planning, resource management, and security compliance within the infrastructure.
• Configure and maintain Cisco UCS systems and fabric switches, develop automation scripts using Power Shell and Python, and coordinate with third‑party vendors as needed.
• Lead troubleshooting efforts, develop and implement disaster recovery strategies, and continuously review and recommend technological improvements to support organizational goals.
• Ensure optimal performance, security, and scalability of the infrastructure, while mentoring team members and managing tasks independently.
• Work with converged and hyper‑converged technologies (e.g., VxBlock, VxRail, Solid Fire) to develop and implement tailored solutions.
• Architect, design, and implement storage solutions using Power Max, VMAX, XtremIO, Unity, ScaleIO, VNX, Isilon, and Pure Storage.
• Configure Cisco UCS systems from initial vendor‑provided setups to production‑ready configurations.
• Use API scripts and tools to manage orchestration, ensuring consistent methodologies across UCS instances.
• Perform basic and advanced activities on Cisco MDS fabric switches, including configuration, firmware upgrades, zoning (smart and traditional), performance analysis, and hardware replacements.
• Set up and manage storage‑based replication technologies such as SRDF, Recover Point, and XtremIO native replication.
• Demonstrate advanced expertise in setting up and managing SRDF‑Metro, SRDF/S, and SRDF/A across multiple data centers.
• Research and analyze advanced storage/SAN features and implement them to enhance the environment as needed.
• Develop and execute disaster recovery strategies, coordinating with internal and external teams to perform scheduled DR tests.
• Coordinate with third‑party vendors for day‑to‑day support activities as necessary.
• Evaluate and recommend alternative technologies and improvements to support organizational goals and present findings to senior management.
• Create and automate infrastructure‑related activities while mentoring team members in automation practices.
• Develop scripts for automating routine tasks using Power Shell, Python, and other relevant scripting languages.
• Lead troubleshooting and recovery efforts during outages or complex issues, including performance and functionality problems.
• Manage and complete tasks and projects independently within established timelines.
• Provide operational support and participate in on‑call rotations as required.

• Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a directly related field of study.
• 6 years of combined experience managing complex infrastructure and virtualization solutions.
• 6 years of experience in VMware vSAN.
• 6 years of experience in VMware vSphere (8/7/6.7/6.5/6/5/4).
• 6 years of experience in VMware HCX.
• 6 years of experience in VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF).
• 6 years of experience in vSphere Replication.
• 6 years of experience in VMware vRealize Suite (8/7/6/5).
