Power BI Analyst / Data Analytics Specialist
Reporting to the Global IT Project Manager, this role is responsible for implementing data analytics projects and business requirements using Microsoft Power BI — providing Power BI guidance and training, supporting end users, and managing and monitoring Power BI work spaces.
Main Responsibilities- Serve as the go‑to person for any Power BI / data analytics queries, and conduct Power BI end‑user training as needed
- As part of the Power BI support team, reinforce Power BI governance policy — creating work spaces, managing user permissions, and adjusting workspace settings
- Gather and document user requirements, prototype solutions when needed, and implement Power BI datasets, reports, and dashboards to meet business needs
- Document analytical processes and datasets for predictive and prescriptive analysis
- Automate fundamental data processing tasks
- Work closely with a range of stakeholders (end users, senior management, and external vendors) and consistently exceed their expectations
- Recommend ways to improve data quality and processes, and understand business‑value relationships
- Translate advanced business analytics problems into technical approaches that yield actionable recommendations
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Mathematics, or Statistics
- Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst certification preferred
- 5 years of data/business analyst experience, including 3 years of reporting
- Well‑versed in the Microsoft Power Platform, with subject‑matter expertise in Power BI
- Expertise in Microsoft Power BI
- Strong knowledge of SQL, with familiarity across the Microsoft Power Platform, data processing automation, and predictive and prescriptive analytics
- Effective analytic and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proactive, positive work attitude
- Self‑sufficient with strong time‑management skills
- Able to communicate complex technical information clearly to a broad range of team members and stakeholders
- Good written and spoken English
