CBTS is searching for a seasone d Infrastructure Project Manager with Mergers and Acquisitions experienc e to lead and coordinate large-scale network refresh initiatives as well as network integration activities related to mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures. This role sits within the network engineering function and is responsible for planning, execution, and stakeholder alignment for projects that impact enterprise connectivity, routing, and network modernizatio
n.The ideal candidate brings strong project management skills combined with experience in network engineering environments, especially in complex enterprise settings undergoing transition or growth. Initial focus will be on executing network refresh programs, followed by broader M&A-related integration responsibilitie
Responsibilities- ies:
Lead planning and delivery of enterprise-wide network refresh efforts, including hardware upgrades, switch/router replacements, and wireless improveme - nts.
Coordinate deployment timelines, equipment staging, change windows, and logistics across multiple sites and te - ams.
Ensure minimal disruption to operations during refresh activities through detailed scheduling and stakeholder coordinat - ion.
Drive all network-related activities tied to M&A lifecycle phases including due diligence, Day 0/Day 1 readiness, and post-close transit - ion.
Develop integration plans addressing connectivity, routing, firewall alignment, segmentation, and DNS/DHCP harmonizat - ion.
Collaborate with the security team to ensure aligned implementation of firewall and access policies during integrat - ion.
Coordinate closely with internal engineering, field services, security, and infrastructure te - ams.
Engage and manage third-party vendors, telecom providers, and equipment suppliers to deliver on project objecti - ves.
Track deliverables, enforce timelines, and escalat risks to ensure continuity and quality of servi - ces.
Maintain structured documentation for network changes, architecture diagrams, and implementation playbo - ocks.
Support site readiness assessments, site survey planning, and phased rollout strateg - ies.
Deliver progress reports, risk updates, and milestone tracking to senior stakeholders and technical leaders - hip.
Act as the primary point of contact for network project status, decisions, and escalati - ons.
Facilitate regular communication with site contacts, field engineers, and business units to ensure successful execut - ion.
Present technical roadmaps and updates in business-friendly terms to non-technical stakehold
- ents:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discip - line.
PMP (Project Management Professional) certific - ation7+ years of project management experience, including at least 3 years focused specifically on network engineering initiat
- ives.
Demonstrated success leading enterprise Infrastructure network refresh efforts and/or network integration projects during mergers or divestit - ures.
Strong knowledge of enterprise networking technologies, including switching, routing, WAN/LAN, wireless, DNS/DHCP, and segmenta - tion.
Hands-on familiarity with network modernization technologies (e.g., SD-WAN, network automation, zero-touch provision - ing).Experience with vendor coordination for circuit provisioning, hardware installation, and support escala
- tion.
Understanding of change management and site deployment processes in large enterprise environm - ents.
Understands site decommissioning and managing deactivation of equipment and serv - ices.
Proven ability to manage distributed teams, coordinate across functions, and drive results in fast-paced environm - ents.
