Job Details Responsibilities
Actively managing all phases of the litigation process from initiation to completion.Drafting a variety of legal documents including pleadings, discovery requests, discovery responses, and motions.Preparing for and attending depositions, hearings, trials, and arbitration proceedings.Developing and executing effective case strategies in collaboration with senior attorneys and clients.Conducting thorough and meticulous legal research to support case strategies and legal arguments.Communicating effectively and regularly with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and team members.Maintaining strict confidentiality and exercising discretion in handling sensitive legal matters.Continually updating knowledge on changes in laws and legal practices to ensure the provision of accurate and timely advice to clients.Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Litigation experience in a law firm or corporate legal department.Admission to the Georgia (GA) state bar and in good standing.Proven experience in drafting briefs, deposition preparation, trial preparation, and developing case strategies.Strong advocacy, negotiation, and courtroom skills.Exceptional research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.High degree of professional ethics and integrity.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Proficiency in using legal research software and other legal technologies.Ability to handle high-pressure situations and meet tight deadlines.Interested in hearing more?
