Shift: E shift 7:00PM – 5:30AM Monday through Thursday (10hours per day)
Responsibilities- Follow operator instruction sheets and/or verbal instructions to carry out operations.
- Check product and/or component dimensions using indicators and gauges per procedures.
- Change simple parts and fixtures to facilitate product changeover.
- Visually and manually inspect for defects in product or workmanship.
- Enter daily data to maintain charts and reports supporting manufacturing, engineering, quality, material control, and sales.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area in accordance with the 5S policy.
- Comply with work instructions and procedures to ensure products conform to TS16949, ISO
14000, and customer quality standards. - Propose and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Communicate machine issues and failures to support staff and coworkers.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Manufacturing or industrial experience, preferably in electronic/mechanical equipment assembly or high‑speed equipment operation.
- Ability to work in a team environment to achieve production goals (cycle time, takt time, scrap rates, etc.).
- Reading and writing skills sufficient to follow work order instructions and prepare simple production reports.
- Basic math skills.
- Manual dexterity to operate machines properly.
- Visual acuity (corrected) to read instructions, operate machines, and inspect parts.
- Physical capability to stoop, bend, and lift up to 40lb frequently; lift up to 50lb occasionally.
- Acceptable scores on pre‑employment assessments.
- Walk, stand, sit, use hands to handle objects, reach with arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Lift and/or move up to 10lb regularly, up to 40lb frequently, and up to 50lb occasionally.
Plant environment. Requires wearing a hat, safety glasses, and steel‑toe shoes while performing specific tasks or in specific manufacturing areas.
