RequiredSkills
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in oncology nursing or a related specialty
- Current and valid RN license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Proficiency with electronic health records, preferably Cerner
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and patient advocacy abilities
- Experience with oncology navigation and lung screening programs
- Knowledge of cancer treatment protocols and patient education
- Familiarity with multidisciplinary team collaboration
- Prior travel or staffing agency experience
Education and Experience
- Associate's or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (ASN, BSN)
- At least 2 years of recent oncology nursing experience
- Certification in Oncology Nursing (OCN) is advantageous
- No local candidates within 50 miles; travel required for assignment
- Availability to start by June 10, 2024
- Ability to work 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, 13-week assignment
- Must possess or be willing to obtain any necessary travel reimbursements and certifications
Compensation for this position is $51.82 per hour.
