Position

The Clinical Manager is responsible for the nursing operations and clinical leadership at the Naperville Pain Ambulatory Surgical Center. The role is RN licensed in Illinois and is a full‑time, 40‑hour per week position.

Position Highlights

Responsibilities
  • Physician Governance/Leadership
    • Collaborates with physicians on practice goals: financial targets, quality/patient satisfaction targets.
    • Keeps physicians informed on progress toward goal accomplishment.
    • Communicates organizational initiatives, policies, and assists interpretation.
  • Planning
    • Organizes/budgets resources (people, equipment, materials) to deliver effective patient care.
    • Reviews department goals and arranges work to accomplish them.
    • Develops short‑range targets as indicators toward reaching goals.
  • Controlling
    • Reviews financial and patient outcomes, ensuring they fall within pre‑determined limits.
    • Trends data and investigates outliers to determine action for correction and prevention.
    • Evaluates department data against performance benchmarks and collaborates on performance improvement.
  • Human Resources
    • Plans acquisition, alignment, and engagement of human resources through selection, onboarding, coaching, appraisal, and development.
    • Creates a teamwork environment to accomplish the mission and goals of the Practice and MPAS.
    • Seeks guidance for assistance with HR concerns.
  • Patient Satisfaction
    • Assesses patient experience through various methodologies.
    • Tracks and addresses complaints in a timely manner.
    • Educates patients on MPAS policies to enhance understanding.
    • Brings issues forward to Directors for resolution.
  • MPAS Activities
    • Member of the Management Team representing the Practice.
    • Participates in ad hoc or standing committees.
    • Represents MPAS in the community.
  • Clinical/Management Leadership
    • Performs duties of triage nurse, staff nurse, or medical assistant as necessary.
    • Consults and coordinates with the healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
    • Maintains and delegates nursing department work schedule; monitors overtime, approves time‑off, assists in annual evaluations, coordinates meetings.
    • Monitors budgetary constraints and maintains DMG policy and procedures.
    • Acts as doctor/patient liaison, maintaining confidentiality and ensuring OSHA/Safety compliance.
  • Additional duties
    • Performs other duties/responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Graduation from an accredited Registered Nursing program.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Current and valid Illinois Nurse License.
  • Knowledge of nursing skills in accordance with nursing standards in the Nurse Practice Act.
  • At least five years of professional nursing experience.
  • Inpatient and outpatient experience helpful.
  • Charge nurse, lead nurse, or other supervisory experience desired.
  • Customer focus with excellent customer service and satisfaction levels for internal and external customers.
  • Interpersonal skills: warm, caring, approachable, respectful.
  • Mentoring/Employee Development: develops employees positively.

Compensation

Base pay range: $99,845–149,770. Compensation determined by skills, experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. Additional compensation may be available through shift differentials, bonuses, and other incentives.
