BOS Medical Staffing is looking for an experienced RN to work in a Pain Management Clinic located in Sandy Springs, GA. Available

Hours:

3-4 Month Contract 8:30a-3p Monday-Thursday

• Performs complete nursing assessments on clients using all available sources of information
• Interviews clients and/or natural supports using acceptable techniques that are appropriate for individual's level of functioning to obtain information regarding medical, social, and/or emotional background
• Collaborates effectively with physicians, clinicians and other treatment team members in the development of an appropriate plan of care
• Administers medication(s) in the proper method, time, and dosage as ordered by the MD
• Count controlled substances, syringes, needles, and sharps at the beginning of each shift with another staff member and sign count logs
• Respect the dignity and confidentiality of patients. Must be able to apply principles of critical thinking to a variety of practical and emergent situations and accurately follow standardized procedures that may call for deviations.
• Must be able to apply sound judgment beyond a specific set of instructions and apply knowledge to different factual situations.

• Current, unencumbered nursing license
• At least 1 year of experience preferred.
• Experience working in a clinic is preferred.
• Basic computer skills for charting
• Ability to work as part of team and multi-task
• Candidates must pass a criminal background check including an FBI Fingerprint Criminal History Check and Pre-employment drug screen
