Assistant Store Manager

Luxury Women’s Boutique — Buckhead Village, Atlanta We are seeking an experienced, energetic Assistant Store Manager to join our luxury women’s boutique in Buckhead Village. This is an important role for someone who genuinely loves fashion, luxury retail, and working with people. The ideal candidate is highly organized, hands‑on, commercially minded, and understands that exceptional service is at the heart of a successful luxury business.

The Role The Assistant Store Manager will work closely with the Store Manager and ownership to help drive sales, develop the sales team, maintain the highest level of customer service, and ensure the store operates beautifully and efficiently every day. You will be expected to lead by example on the sales floor and be actively involved in selling, styling, clienteling, and building lasting relationships with customers.
Responsibilities

• Drive sales and consistently work toward achieving store goals
• Provide exceptional, personalized service to every customer
• Lead by example on the sales floor and actively sell
• Develop strong relationships with clients and encourage repeat business
• Help train and coach sales associates in selling, styling, product knowledge, and clienteling
• Ensure the team understands the designers, collections, merchandise, and inventory
• Maintain a beautiful, organized, and impeccably presented sales floor
• Assist with merchandising, replenishment, inventory control, transfers, and receiving
• Help oversee daily opening and closing procedures
• Assist the Store Manager with scheduling and day‑to‑day team management
• Follow up with clients and support the development of individual client books
• Help identify opportunities to increase sales and improve the customer experience
• Handle customer concerns professionally and with good judgment
• Support special events, appointments, and VIP clients
• Maintain a high‑energy, positive, and collaborative store environment

• Previous experience in luxury fashion or high‑end retail
• Strong sales ability and a genuine passion for fashion
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A polished, confident, and welcoming presence
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast‑paced environment
• A natural ability to motivate and work with a team
• Strong follow‑through and a sense of urgency
• Someone who is hands‑on rather than management‑only
• Excellent clienteling and relationship‑building skills
• Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and during special events as needed

Most Important We are looking for someone who wants to sell . The Assistant Store Manager should be comfortable stepping into the dressing room, styling a client, finding the right size, learning the inventory, making suggestions, closing the sale, and then following up with that customer afterward. This is not a desk job. We want someone who enjoys being on the floor, loves customers, takes initiative, and wants to be part of building something special.
