Pro Assurance specializes in healthcare professional liability, products liability for medical technology and life sciences, legal professional liability, and workers' compensation insurance. We are an industry-leading specialty insurer, with job opportunities in much of the contiguous United States. This position supports our workers' compensation line of business, Eastern Alliance. This is a remote role, based in Georgia or South Carolina, but could also accommodate Charlotte NC.
Candidates located in Augusta GA, Charlotte NC, Atlanta GA and Columbia SC would be well located to meet the travel requirements of the position.
The primary responsibility of the Senior Marketing Representative position is to work in conjunction with the Regional Vice President and Director(s) of Marketing and Regional Underwriting to profitably manage the Company’s agency distribution network by providing field marketing support to the regional service teams. In support of the regional Strategic Plan, the Senior Marketing Representative is responsible for working within a service team structure to co‑develop/establish individual agency management strategies and execution of the same throughout the year.
These individual strategies should be focused on securing/retaining profitable business in all of the Company’s business segments. This position is accountable for identifying and evaluating potential agency partners based upon the regional strategic plan and working with the regional service teams to improve the performance of existing agency partners. In support of the regional services teams, the Senior Marketing Representative will analyze the monthly report data available to identify either positive or negative trends and then share these observations them.
This position will deliver an unparalleled level of service to the Company’s agency with the ultimate goal of achieving annual business goals and objectives.
- 30% - Support each of the regional service teams to manage the Company’s agency distribution. Monitor agency results on a timely basis and push the appropriate date to the appropriate service team; recognize and troubleshoot areas of difference and plan/recommend corrective action for profitable results. Coordinate and monitor visits with other Company representatives.
- 15% - Coordinate and participate in the execution of the annual agency business planning and regularly monitor results, recommend, and take action when necessary.
- 5% - Coordinate and manage all regional agency outing and marketing events (internal/external).
- 5% - Advocate the Company as carrier of choice to new and prospective agencies; promote new products and services and assist in identifying new product opportunities and/or enhancements of current products.
- 5% - Prospect, qualify and recommend for appointment agencies in assigned territory to build and maintain a profitable agency distribution network. Set-up and maintain all new agencies within the Company database.
- 5% - Coordinate all new agency orientation meetings including producing all the necessary meeting materials.
- 5% - Oversee the technical management of the Company’s Agency Agreement, Profit Incentive Plan and commission plans within assigned territories.
- 5% - Coordinate with the regional Agency Advisory Council meetings through attendance, planning and participation. Manage recommendations and follow-up on action plans.
