The Role

The Product Marketing & Go-To-Market Leader is the external face and lead evangelist for our proprietary supply chain SaaS product — and owns every buyer conversation from first touch to a true sales-qualified opportunity.

This is a highly external, market-facing seat. You take a differentiated, early-stage product and turn its capabilities into targeted executive messaging, account-specific outreach, and qualified customer conversations that move real pipeline.

You own the full motion up to the point a genuine opportunity is created. Once an opportunity is sales-qualified, you hand the relationship to our Chief Product Officer and Chief Executive Officer to close — so your job is to generate, qualify, and set up winnable deals, not to run them to signature.

You bring the instincts of someone who has helped launch or grow a startup: comfortable operating hands‑on and out front, where the product, positioning, and playbook are still taking shape. You pair sharp commercial thinking with excellent executive writing and a natural presence in the market, and you measure yourself by the quality of the pipeline and conversations you generate, not the volume of assets you produce.

If you have built a founder‑led or account‑based motion before, and you would rather be the one starting conversations in the market than waiting for leads to arrive, this is that role.

What You’ll Own Product evangelism and market presence
  • Serve as the external face and lead evangelist for the product, building visibility and credibility with senior supply chain buyers.
  • Be consistently active on Linked In and other channels — publishing points of view, engaging buyers, and building a personal and product brand that generates inbound interest and warm conversations.
  • Represent the product at trade shows, conferences, and industry events — speaking, networking, running meetings, and turning event presence into qualified pipeline.
Account-based pipeline and outreach
  • Research priority retailers, brands, and distributors to identify likely fulfillment, inventory, capacity, and operational decision challenges.
  • Develop account‑specific outreach, executive messaging, call hooks, and meeting‑opening hypotheses.
  • Create concise sales collateral such as account briefs, use‑case summaries, diagnostic assessments, and executive one‑pagers.
Discovery, qualification, and handoff
  • Define discovery questions and qualification frameworks and lead early customer conversations to qualify genuine opportunities.
  • Generate qualified meetings, pilots, design partnerships, and diagnostic engagements — owning the full motion up to a sales‑qualified opportunity.
  • Hand off cleanly to the CPO and CEO to close, with the context, message, and momentum needed to win.
Messaging, experimentation, and product feedback
  • Test messaging, buyer personas, use cases, and outreach approaches, and build a repeatable pipeline playbook.
  • Translate customer and market feedback into improvements to the product’s positioning, ideal customer profile, offerings, and product priorities.
How Success Is Measured

Qualified Pipeline Volume and quality of sales‑qualified opportunities created and handed to the CPO and CEO, plus qualified meetings booked from outbound and inbound.

Conversion & Revenue Converted SaaS deals influenced, and the number of live opportunities advanced into the lower funnel and toward close.

Target Account Coverage Breadth and frequency of engagement across the target account list — accounts touched, multi‑threaded, and moved into active conversation.

Market Presence Linked In audience and engagement growth, event participation and meetings sourced from them, and inbound interest generated by evangelism.

Message-Market Fit Strength of the messaging and feedback loop — win/loss insight captured and fed back into positioning, ICP, and product priorities.

Pipeline Quality SQO-to-opportunity and opportunity-to-close rates, and the health of handoffs into the…
