Position Overview
Lead a high-impact regional sales organization serving core industrial and commercial customers while capturing growth in the rapidly expanding data-center market. Siemens Smart Infrastructure is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to lead eight sales professionals across the East Region and influence a broader network of channel and cross-functional partners. You will own the regional commercial strategy - protecting key customer relationships, improving sales-team productivity, and converting high-potential electrical OEM targets into profitable growth.
The team's primary portfolio includes power circuit breakers, molded case circuit breakers, safety switches, and motor controls, with additional scope for complementary power distribution systems. This high-visibility role offers strategic autonomy, executive exposure, performance-based bonus opportunity tied to regional results, and broad career possibilities. It reports to the Regional VP of Sales

- Protect and grow the core :
Maintain and expand the key customer relationships and established business that underpin the region's success. - Unlock team capacity:
Align eight direct reports and extended resources to the highest-value customers, pursuits, and market opportunities. - Convert growth targets:
Build and execute focused pursuit strategies for high-potential OEMs, particularly in data-center and other expanding electrical-infrastructure markets. - Build a winning culture:
Create an accountable, collaborative, customer-focused environment with clear priorities, strong coaching, and high performance standards.

This position will be remote in one of the following areas Atlanta, GA Charlotte or Raleigh, NC Nashville or Memphis, TN, Richmond, VA Jacksonville, Orlando, Tampa, Ft. Lauderdale or Miami, FL
Role DescriptionYou’ll make an impact by:
- Owning regional strategy and performance, including revenue, order intake, profitability, market share, pipeline health, and forecast accuracy.
- Leading, coaching, and developing eight direct reports while influencing an extended network of channel and cross-functional partners.
- Protecting and expanding strategic customer relationships through executive engagement, disciplined account planning, and differentiated value propositions.
- Prioritizing high-potential targets and coaching the team on demand creation, specification influence, value-based selling, deal shaping, and competitive conversion.
- Deploying sales resources according to customer potential, seller capabilities, and regional growth priorities to improve productivity and opportunity coverage.
- Establishing a consistent operating rhythm for pipeline reviews, forecasting, CRM discipline, account planning, and performance follow-through.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and directly related experience.
- 5+ years of sales leadership experience with responsibility for leading, coaching, and developing quota-carrying sales professionals.
- Direct B2B sales experience in electrical, power-distribution, industrial, or other technical markets, including work with OEM and distribution channels.
- Demonstrated success leading a complex regional business and delivering customer retention, revenue growth, new-business acquisition, market-share gains, and competitive wins.
- Experience shaping sales strategy, leading strategic account planning, and driving consultative, value-based selling.
- Experience leading pipeline management, forecasting, CRM discipline, opportunity reviews, and performance management.
- Ability to operate effectively in a matrixed environment and influence customers, partners, sellers, business units, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% within the assigned territory and region.
- Valid driver's license in good standing and ability to participate in the required Siemens vehicle plan, where applicable.
