Maintenance Technician - Cumming Area

Role Overview

As a Maintenance Technician, you will perform high‑quality maintenance work in single‑family rental homes while providing outstanding customer service.

• Complete maintenance service requests across multiple trades.
• Provide excellent customer service and promote a quality living experience.
• Complete regular Pro Care visits to perform proactive maintenance and repairs.
• Educate residents about maintenance topics.
• Conduct general property condition assessments and alert management team when immediate attention is needed.
• Review and use technician‑specific reports to identify improvement opportunities.
• Perform repairs in vacant properties while on the market or during turn process.
• Properly use and care for company‑supplied tools, materials, and vehicles.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• OSHA 10 certification required (new hires will have up to 90 days to complete).
• Proven experience in residential repairs and maintenance or related field.
• Knowledge of residential construction and mechanical systems; ability to perform general repairs in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, sheetrock, exterior structure, HVAC (minor), and appliances.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills; strong verbal and written communication; multilingual a plus.
• Comfortable using mobile devices (iPad/iPhone) and mobile applications.
• Valid driver’s license, automobile insurance, and any state‑required licenses/certifications.
• Ability to work regularly and consistently, including weekends and holidays as needed.
• Ability to use basic hand and power tools and to perform work requiring frequent climbing, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crawling, pushing, pulling, lifting, talking, hearing, and lifting over 50 lbs.
• May be required to conduct occupancy checks and assist with eviction lockouts/setouts in coordination with local law enforcement.

• EPA Certification, Type I and II HVAC Certification, CPO certification (pool).

• Salary range: $20.19 - $35.00 per hour.
