Electrician

Leapros Skilled Trades is actively hiring Electrician in Sandy Springs, GA. The Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in commercial and service-oriented environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical codes and safety procedures, the ability to troubleshoot complex issues, and experience working independently to complete service calls.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $20 to $35 Per Hour BOE

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems including conduit, lighting fixtures, electrical panels, and transformers.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform corrective actions to minimize system downtime.
• Install, bend, and remove conduit to accommodate specific wiring needs.
• Interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, and technical wiring diagrams.
• Pull electrical wiring through conduit and connect it to circuit breakers, outlets, and other components.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on existing electrical systems.
• Ensure all installations meet National Electrical Code (NEC) standards and local safety regulations.
• Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits using various testing devices.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used for each project.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in commercial or industrial electrical installations and service.
• Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and safety standards.
• Proficiency in using electrical tools, equipment, and diagnostic testing devices.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Possession of necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) and standard hand tools.
• Reliable transportation to travel to various job sites in the Sandy Springs area.
• Dependable and punctual with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Physical Requirements:

• Must have manual dexterity, a good sense of balance, and excellent hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to climb stairs, ladders, and poles to access electrical equipment.
• Physically capable of pulling wires and cables through conduits.
• Must be able to see color to discern color-coded wiring.
• Must be able to sit, stand, kneel, stoop, and walk for long periods of time.
• Must be capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in various conditions, including inclement weather and extreme temperatures.

Pay Transparency:

The anticipated pay range for this position is $20 to $35 per hour, based on relevant factors such as experience, skills, education, internal equity, and geographic location. Final compensation will be determined during the interview process by the hiring authority.
