Senior Power Automate Developer

Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Power Automate Developer to design, develop, and support enterprise-grade automation solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience building scalable workflows, integrating enterprise applications, and implementing governance and security best practices. This role requires strong hands‑on development expertise, architectural thinking, troubleshooting capabilities, and production support experience.
Automation & Workflow Development- Design, develop, test, and deploy Power Automate Cloud and Desktop Flows.
- Build approval workflows, scheduled automations, and event‑driven business processes.
- Develop reusable, modular automation components to improve scalability and maintainability.
- Create automation solutions that support complex business operations and enterprise requirements.
- Integrate Power Automate with SharePoint, Dataverse, SQL Server, Snowflake, and third‑party applications.
- Develop API‑based integrations using REST, HTTP connectors, and custom connectors.
- Integrate Azure services including Event Hub, Event Grid, Storage Queues, and Blob Storage.
- Orchestrate workflows across Power Apps, Power BI, and backend systems.
- Design scalable and secure automation architectures.
- Evaluate and recommend Power Automate, Azure Logic Apps, or custom development solutions based on business needs.
- Ensure solutions comply with enterprise standards and platform limitations.
- Optimize workflows for performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Implement advanced exception handling using retry policies and structured error management.
- Build logging and monitoring frameworks utilizing Dataverse, SharePoint, and correlation tracking.
- Monitor production automations and proactively resolve issues.
- Provide production support and root‑cause analysis for automation failures.
- Optimize flow execution by reducing unnecessary loops and improving query efficiency.
- Manage concurrency controls and platform throttling limitations.
- Improve automation reliability for high‑volume business processes.
- Implement Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) practices using managed and unmanaged solutions.
- Support environment migration strategies across Development, Test, and Production environments.
- Automate deployments using Azure Dev Ops, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Enforce Power Platform governance standards and Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies.
- Manage environment security, authentication, permissions, and compliance requirements.
- Ensure enterprise automation solutions meet security and audit standards.
- Partner with Business Analysts, Architects, Product Owners, and stakeholders to gather requirements.
- Translate business requirements into technical automation solutions.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
- Participate in architecture reviews and solution design discussions.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 8+ years of IT experience with 4+ years of Power Platform/Power Automate development.
- Strong expertise in Microsoft Power Automate and Power Platform.
- Experience with SharePoint, Dataverse, SQL Server, and API integrations.
- Hands‑on experience with approval workflows, scheduled automations, and event‑driven flows.
- Strong knowledge of exception handling, monitoring, and logging frameworks.
- Experience integrating enterprise applications and cloud services.
- Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills.
- Experience with Snowflake and data modeling.
- Experience with Azure Logic Apps and Azure Integration Services.
- Knowledge of Power Apps and Power BI integration.
- Experience with Azure Dev Ops, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with Power Platform governance, DLP policies, and security administration.
