Kitchen Manager
This position is responsible for overseeing the Camp Namanu kitchen, ensuring balanced meals for all persons on site for summer camp, weekend programs, catered rentals, and Outdoor School. Responsibilities include scheduling and supervising seasonal kitchen employees, menu-planning, food ordering within budget, managing kitchen inventory and supply requests, adhering to all food safety standards, meeting with renters or partners ahead of events and rentals, and working with camp leadership to implement policies for staff and campers.
This position is also responsible for ensuring that any reported dietary needs and restrictions are safely met.

Our Summer Camp Program was founded in 1924 and continues to serve youth ages 5-18. During the summer months, we offer overnight summer camp at our beautiful 552-acre camp, Camp Namanu, bordered by the vibrant Sandy River and presided over by century-old trees.
