Rolling Mill Operator

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Rolling Mill Operators for projects located in or around Sandy, OR
. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay range is $30-$35/hour based on experience and skill level. If you are a Mill Operator and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career!

• Operating steel rolling machines
• Form 1inch thick steel sheets into a circularshape creating pipes & tanks
• Welding tasks using dual shield, MIG, TIG, and Flux core welding processes
• Maintain the rolling mill equipment and welding tools to ensure smooth and efficient operation
• Monitor material quality and thickness to meet required specifications
• Conduct routine inspections and perform minor maintenance on the rolling mill machine and welding equipment

• 3+ years of hands-on experience as a Rolling Mill Operator or in a similar manufacturing or metal fabrication role
• Must be proficient in welding using dual shield, MIG, TIG, and Flux core welding
• Strong mechanical aptitude and experience with manual rolling mill machines (non-CNC)
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Ability to lift and maneuver steel sheets and materials safely
