Accounting Manager

CFO.help is a small accounting firm that focuses on small business accounting. We work with clients nationwide to make sure they have accurate accounting so they can make sound business decisions. We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Manager to join our team. This position will work directly with the owner of CFO.help and will communicate from time to time with clients.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records, including accounts cash flow projections, payroll, receivables, accounts payables, sales receipts, reconciliations and reporting.

• Record day-to-day financial transactions.
• Reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
• Manage bank and general ledger reconciliations.
• Maintaining accurate and organized financial files.
• Help run payroll.
• Create cash flow projections.
• Train and support booking staff as needed.

• Solid understanding of accounting principles.
• Strong Excel/Google Sheets knowledge (must know how to create a pivot table, vlookup/xlookup, sumif, etc).
• Knowledge of Click Up.
• Willingness to learn new systems.
• Willingness to work more the first week of the month to close books.
• Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers.
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Extensive knowledge of Quickbooks.
• Knowledge of Appfolio is a plus.

This is a year round part time hybrid position that will need to be onsite 1 day a week at The Salt Mine offices in Sandy, UT. Specific days and hours can be negotiated.

This part-time position will be for 20-25 hours per week.
