Bookkeeping Supervisor​/Manager (with Payroll Experience

KM Larson & Company CPAs is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable bookkeeping Supervisor/Manager. This role is responsible for managing the bookkeeping services for our clients. The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of three years of experience working with Quick Books, as well as being organized, trustworthy, and comfortable working with both people and financial data.

• Review financial records for our clients, including accounts payable and receivable as well as reconciled bank and credit card statements for our tax and bookkeeping clients
• Assist with year-end tax adjustments
• Generate financial reports and summaries as needed
• Collaborate with internal and client personnel as needed

• Hands-on experience with payroll processing including calculating wages, tracking time, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws
• Knowledge of payroll tax regulations and compliance
• Filing monthly, quarterly, and annual payroll taxes and related reports including amending payroll tax forms as necessary

• Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role
• Familiarity with Quick Books including Quick Books Desktop and Quick Books Online
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
