Overview
Role: Product Manager
Location: Hybrid
Reports To: Chief Experience Officer
The Product Manager role is responsible for creating, maintaining, and improving internal and external documentation, training materials, and educational resources that support employees, clients, and partners. This role ensures our teams are equipped with accurate, up-to-date information and that our clients can confidently navigate our platform and processes. This position requires strong communication skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to translate complex concepts into clear, user-friendly content.
WhatYou’ll Be Doing
- Product Strategy & Discovery:
Define and maintain product roadmap aligned with company goals and KPIs; conduct market research, competitive analysis, and user interviews to uncover opportunities; understand customer pain points and translate them into clear product requirements; use data to identify trends and make informed prioritization decisions. - Product Development & Execution:
Lead the creation of product specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, and workflows; collaborate closely with engineering and design to deliver high-quality features on time; serve as the product owner for agile ceremonies including backlog grooming, sprint planning, and retrospectives; validate solutions through testing, feedback loops, and data analysis after release. - Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Partner with operations, sales, marketing, and customer success to ensure internal alignment and effective go-to-market execution; communicate roadmap plans, development progress, and release updates to stakeholders; work with compliance to ensure product features adhere to regulatory and industry requirements. - Measurement & Optimization:
Define success metrics and evaluate product performance post-launch; drive iterative improvements based on data, feedback, and evolving business needs; identify technical or operational gaps and propose long-term, scalable solutions; work with the Chief Experience Officer to define the Product Management team and ultimately be responsible for the hiring and day-to-day management of the team.
- 3+ years of product management experience in SaaS, fintech, HR tech, or a related field.
- Strong communication and documentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts.
- Experience working cross-functionally with engineering and design teams.
- Proficiency with product management tools (e.g., Jira, Figma, Productboard, Notion).
- Ability to analyze data and draw insights; familiarity with tools like Looker, Tableau, or SQL is a plus.
- Demonstrated experience delivering customer-facing products from concept to release.
- Experience in retirement, financial services, payroll, HRIS, or compliance-heavy industries.
- Understanding of user-centered design principles and usability testing.
- Background in agile development methodologies.
- Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth startup environments.
