Job Description

This role oversees the pursuit lifecycle for IT service deals ranging from small contracts to large global deals. The Engagement Manager leads deal teams, negotiates terms, develops proposals, and transitions won deals to delivery and client management.

Responsibilities
  • Lead deal teams and represent the company to the customer for outsourcing deals up to $10m TCV.
  • Responsible for assembling all required resources/skills to develop proposal, pursue and win large national outsourcing deals.
  • Coordinate all deal team efforts with sponsorship of MS Engagement Director.
  • Assist in opportunity qualification and risk assessment.
  • Validate and endorse the technical solution for the deal; work with delivery to assure solution design can be delivered.
  • Develop deal timeline and ensure that pursuit team meets deal milestones and deadlines.
  • Lead pursuit team in developing and substantiating a winning value proposition that meets the needs of the customer, including analyzing critical business drivers and risks.
  • Lead negotiations for national medium size deals and assist with large complex deals.
  • Proactively manage all resource requirements throughout deal pursuit.
  • Help in the transition of deal leadership to permanently assigned management to ensure seamless asset transfer, personnel transfer, technology and process adoption.
Education and Experience Required
  • Typically 5-7 years in complex IT service business environment.
  • University degree preferable.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of corporate organization and policies.
