Job Summary The Issue Management Senior Analyst is a second line of defense role that provides oversight, coordination, and reporting across the Issue lifecycle for Mountain America’s Enterprise Issue Management Program. This role serves as a senior individual contributor within the program. The senior analyst applies subject‑matter knowledge with limited guidance to promote consistent execution, strong data quality, and effective governance using the Archer GRC platform, appropriately challenging first‑line execution without owning policy decisions or final remediation acceptance.

SCHEDULE Full Time; this is a hybrid schedule with some weekly in office expectation, based on business need.

This role may be offered as an Issue Management Analyst or a Senior Issue Management Analyst, depending on chosen candidate's demonstrated experience and skills.

To be effective, an individual must be able to perform each job duty successfully.

Issue Lifecycle Oversight and Support Provides second line oversight of Issue identification, documentation quality, remediation tracking, and supports root‑cause analysis; evaluates unique circumstances and recommends actions within established guidelines.

Monitors Issue progress, identifies risks or barriers to timely remediation, and escalates concerns to completion in accordance with defined criteria, exercising independent judgment within generally defined procedures.

Partners with relevant stakeholders to promote consistent lifecycle execution and cross‑program alignment (e.g., RCSA, control testing, and Operational Losses).Contributes to Issue risk‑rating activities by assessing completeness, consistency, and rationale against standards; seeks advice on complex matters.

Data Quality, Reporting & Governance Maintains Issue data quality in Archer; prepares routine and ad hoc status, trend, and health reporting with insights to inform decision-making.

Supports governance routines (materials, documentation, follow-ups, and stakeholder coordination) with limited guidance from program leadership.

Drafts and updates Issue Management standards, procedures, and user guidance under the direction of program leadership, contributing to enhancements that improve data integrity and execution consistency.

Program Enablement and Continuous Improvement Provides advisory support to business users on Archer workflows and lifecycle expectations; may support small, well‑defined improvements in partnership with program leadership.

Identifies process and control alignment opportunities across Issue Management and related programs (e.g., Operational Losses) and recommends changes for leadership review.

Experience Typically requires a minimum of 4 years of related experience in Risk, Compliance, or Internal Audit, including independent Issue Management support, or Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, risk management, or equivalent experience.

Archer experience preferred

Licenses, Certifications, Registrations Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CRCM, CIA) preferred but not required.

Knowledge & Skills Thorough knowledge and application of Issue Management methods and procedures; advanced knowledge of enterprise risk and compliance practices relevant to the role.

Intermediate–advanced proficiency with Word, Excel, and Power Point Strong  problem‑solving and data analysis skills; ability to translate trends into actionable insights within established guidelines
