  • Oversee full‑cycle AP (invoice intake through payment) with a focus on automation and workflow efficiency
  • Utilize tools such as AI‑powered OCR, automated matching, and dynamic approvals to reduce manual effort
  • Manage payment execution (ACH, wire, check, virtual cards) and resolve escalations
  • Improve working capital through discount capture, payment strategy, and rebate programs
  • Maintain strong internal controls, compliance, and fraud prevention practices
  • Support close processes, accruals, and reconciliations
  • Leverage ERP and AP tools (e.g., Yardi, PredictAP or similar) to enhance accuracy and reporting
  • Identify and implement process improvements and scalable workflows
  • Partner cross‑functionally to streamline end‑to‑end processes
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of AP experience with prior team leadership
  • Experience in an automated or modernized AP environment (ERP, OCR, workflow tools)
  • Experience working across multiple departments and lines of business is required
  • Strong knowledge of AP processes, controls, and accounting fundamentals
  • Proven ability to drive process improvement and efficiency
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and Excel skills
  • Effective communicator with strong stakeholder and vendor management abilities
Why You Should Join

This is a great opportunity to join a company that is eager to create a highly automated and efficient AP operation where the team is focused on driving value rather than just processing transactions. The environment prioritizes strong cash flow outcomes through optimized payment timing, discount capture, and rebate strategies, while maintaining robust controls and minimizing risk. At the same time, the organization emphasizes a positive, collaborative experience for both vendors and internal stakeholders, making it an ideal setting for someone looking to contribute strategically and be part of a forward‑thinking function.
