Part time floating Teacher

Overview

Do you love teaching? Do you love kids? Do you enjoy working with kids? Well this may be the perfect job for you. Willowcreek Children’s Center is currently hiring a part time floater 12:30 or 2:30-6:00pm Monday through Friday for all ages.

Applicants must be energetic, warm, caring and passionate individuals who have a genuine interest in working with infants and young children. Enthusiasm and willingness to collaborate with fellow staff and parents is essential, as are strong interpersonal skills and the ability to help promote a safe, trusting and engaging environment for each infant/child and their families.

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• A high school diploma or equivalent
• At least one year experience working in a licensed childcare facility preferred but not necessary
• The ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience
• CPR and First Aid certification (willing to get)
• Food Handler’s permit (optional)
• Flexibility as to the hours and schedule of work
• Must pass the state child care licensing background screening

Must be able to lift at least 40 pounds, and be able to sit on the floor for long periods of time.
