We7re looking for an experienced Senior Estimator / Pre-Construction Manager to join our team and play a key role in delivering successful Data Center construction projects.
The Role:- Lead and manage estimates for a range of commercial construction projects
- Prepare accurate estimates and supporting information from initial enquiry through to tender
- Complete detailed quantity take-offs, pricing and bid analysis
- Develop estimates across conceptual, schematic, design development and construction document stages
- Manage subcontractor and supplier enquiries, quotations and pricing
- Assess bids and ensure competitive and accurate pricing
- Identify value engineering and life-cycle cost opportunities
- Provide leadership throughout the pre-construction process
- Prepare detailed bid proposals and project schedules
- Develop schematic plans or sketches where required to demonstrate project approach
- Lead and contribute to estimating-related projects and initiatives
- 3+ years7 experience estimating commercial construction projects
- Strong experience across hard-bid, design-build and conceptual estimating
- Comprehensive knowledge of construction systems and disciplines, including mechanical and electrical
- Experience with self-performed concrete construction
- Strong understanding of construction costs, procurement and bidding strategies
- Experience estimating across all stages of design
- Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Confident working with clients, Architects, Owners and project teams
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and deliver accurate work under pressure
- Experience with modern estimating and construction software
- Degree in Engineering, Construction or a related field, or equivalent experience
- A commercially driven estimator who takes ownership
- Someone who can look beyond the numbers and add value during pre-construction
- A strong communicator who can build trusted relationships
- Someone who takes pride in delivering accurate, predictable outcomes
- A team player who is committed to quality, safety, integrity and collaboration
